A Very Big Site for a Very Big Park
- Web
The Cairngorm area was made a National Park in September 2003. It is Britain's largest National Park.
The Cairngorms National Park Authority is charged with the park’s care. Efficient and open communication to local people and the public in general has always been a critical part of the Authority’s remit. The website forms a key role in delivering on this commitment.
We have worked with the Authority since its inception, designing and building the original website, and then conducting a comprehensive redesign of the site in 2009.
In addition to design and development services, we have provided strategic and technological consultation to the Park Authority for nearly 8 years. The goal has been to develop and maintain a large and continually evolving website which supplies a plethora of diverse functionality, ranging from simple news and meetings facilities to online diaries and publication archives.
The site must also be fully accessible and optimised for search engines.
