A direct payment is a payment of money so that you can buy your own community care or housing support service instead of getting a service organised by the City of Edinburgh Council.
The DVD consists of eight short stories. In the first seven stories, people describe the choice and flexibility of direct payments. In the final story, different individuals describe how they use their Edinburgh Cards. The DVD features BSL and subtitle options. This clip is an edited version of one of the stories.
