Usher Hall

  • Video

The Usher Hall in Edinburgh is the most famous music hall in Scotland. With a world renowned identity and acoustic, the hall has played host to a wide variety of artists including The Rolling Stones, Cliff Richard, Bill Bailey, and Billy Connelly. The Usher Hall is also the home of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.

In a bid to bring the hall into the 21st century, a bold new wing has been built on the south side of the circular hall. A stunning adventure of curved glass and steel lines, this new addition melds the old and the new while providing excellent new facilities for the hall.

Heehaw produced a film that successfully captures the balance of traditional and contemporary presented by the new wing, while highlighting the new artist spaces and hospitality features. Used as a promotional DVD, the film will also be broadcast online and on the Big Screen in Festival Square, directly opposite the hall.
