Teachers' Support Packs – the ideal lesson planner

You will receive one Teachers’ Support Pack with every CD-ROM purchase. The Teachers’ Support Pack is a transcript of all of the text used to create the CD-ROM, plus pupil worksheets. Split into chapters, it is an ideal lesson planner and can be used either in conjunction with, or instead of, the CD-ROM.

The Support Packs are spiral-bound to facilitate easy photocopying*. The contents include all the extras featured in the CD-ROMs: the detailed, illustrated maps or the locations of significant battles and important towns, lists of Royal Succession, Timelines and Multiple Choice Quizzes.

Teachers' Support Discs - create your own lesson plans

Also included with our two most recent products, The Home Front: Scotland in World War II and Victorian Scotland is the Teachers' Support Disc. This is, we are told, an invaluable addition to our CD-ROM packages as it contains all of the individual text, image, sound and video files used to create the software. Teachers can therefore extract the information required and ignore anything they do not wish to include in their lessons. They can add their own material, or re-arrange the information into a lesson plan that suits them better - the options are endless and the end result is a truly flexible and versatile CD-ROM package.
