Victorian Scotland
Project Description
Victorian Scotland is a visually rich, interactive CD-ROM designed for the Scottish Education market. It incorporates a wide range of detailed video, textual and interactive content woven together using the visual style of 18th Century advertising graphics.
The project was ambitious in terms of graphical its style (it won the Scottish Design Award for Best CD-ROM/DVD in 2006), as well as its technological approach. Director and Flash were used extensively in conjunction with XML to create a rapid and stable development environment. The product was featured as a case study on Adobe's website as an example of innovative use of their software packages.
