Our creative partnership with the production team at Baillie Gifford started back in 2019, and we’ve since collaborated on a series of award winning animations that challenge the status quo of video content in the financial industry. Baillie Gifford has their own in-house production team that think about their projects the same way we do; always trying to look at subjects differently and find new ways to tell a story and deliver information. This has resulted in some fantastic briefs that are always a joy to work on, allowing our illustration and animation teams to use the best of their imagination.

Thinking outside the money box
The content briefs from Baillie Gifford’s producers are always unexpected. While topics and subjects might be familiar to us; think graduate programmes, investment funds and careers, the creative concept and desired execution are always unique. These creative challenges led to some fascinating sequences and highly engaging content, pulling the audience into the subject matter. Behind the scenes
The Baillie Gifford projects allow us to explore different concepts and designs using different styles of illustration and animation across 2D and 3D with varying colour palettes, brush styles, movements and textures. We’ve created sequences that progress through the different eras of video game development, feature characters that piece themselves together as they leap through a series of cosmic doorways, and three dimensional worlds bursting into bloom from between the ridges of a vinyl playing on a grey rendered record player. Not your usual financial explainer.
